Northwestern Territory
Dinoworld takes place on a planet called DW-435 B, nicknamed by the local population and several other inhabitans of the Earth Empire as "Dinoworld". On Dinoworld there are 4 continents: The Main Continent, The Northern Continent, Gigante and Dispari, the most explored and colonized of these is the Main Continent (thus the name), which is split into 4 separate territories with their own governement and different ranger teams. To not spoil the story, locations will be added here as they appear in the story.
The NorthWest is the main territory of the story, and also where the population is highest, and where there are most settlements. The NorthWest Territory is also important because of the fact that it was here that humans first landed on DinoWorld.This is also the only territory with Ranger Stations, however every territory has rangers. Due to it being the most explored, and the largest territory population-wise, most Dinoworld stories take place here, the territorial capital is the Capital City.
Mostly desert, the Eastern Territory is blocked off from the NorthWest due to the Sauropod Mountain Range. There is a salt flat, the last remnants of an ancient inland sea that dried up.To the North of the Territory are the Sulfur Geysers. Tectonic activity causes sulfur to spew forth out of the ground. A couple of the geysers have water which mixes with the sulfur and erupts sulfuric acid. Great vacation spot, right?Trike Rock is located in an area of arches on the Southern end of the Territory. An archway that had two arches fused at one end collapsed and the remnant of the arch resembles the horns of a Triceratops.
There is a main beach that's a popular tourist spot. White sand and surfing, as well as hosting all types of fishing tournaments.Extreme anglers would go after things such as Xiphactinus, which can grow up to 20ft in length (and there's fierce competition to get the biggest). The Island Territory is based on a few islands off-coast from the Northwestern and Southern Territory, and the territorial capital is Meadowshire
The Southern Territory is possibly the least explored of all the territories. It is mostly covered in Jungle, and holds only three towns on its western part (from northest to southest: Suchus harbor, Hadros and Forest's edge.Surrounding the jungles are vast plains. The Southern Territory is also one of the most species-rich of the territories. The Southern Territory directly borders the Northwestern, and its territorial capital is Yava City.

The Main Continent
The Dinworld main continent is almost P-shaped. A massive mountain range known as the Sauropod Mountains separate the continent into two distinct parts, on the western side lies the Temperate and heavily forested northwestern continent, bordering in the south to the southern territory, a massive jungle. The eastern territory´s moisture is blocked off by the massive mountains, making it a desert. The Island Territory is by some not considered part of the main continent, but is generally agreed to be.
