Important Characters of Dinoworld
Chief "Rex" Turner
Chief of the Northwestern Territory Rangers
Head Ranger of the NorthWest Territory. He doesn't like to talk about his past and few ask. Skilled with a sword, he is a former Poacher but still keeps in contact with a few of his resources without the knowledge or concent of the Governors or other Rangers.
After word of a rogue Deinonychus begins to spread, Turner went to face the creature and lost. The raptor gave him three slash marks over the right side of his face in the same position as Simon, showing that he was a raptor infant that survived.
Scarface

His family having been killed by Poachers as an infant, a young Deinonychus ventured and was forced to live on its own. After being rejected by White Eye and left with a slash over his left eye, Scarface became a rogue. Seeking revenge against those who took his life away, he was trained in the art of torture by a war criminal (who Scarface later betrayed and killed).His ferocity is matched only by his intelligence. Fast and efficient, he has no territory of his own but rather roams the countryside in search of his next victim.Discovering Chief "Rex" Turner, Scarface remembers him as one of the ones who killed his family. Rather than killing him right off, he gave Turner a scratch over the right cheek that is the same as was given to the other who attacked. Using this as a mark, Scarface seeks to destroy all that Turner knows.
Mackenzie Rhodes
Northwestern Territory ranger

Mackenzie ran away from home when she was 14 and was picked up by "Rex" Turner, who was a 3-star Ranger at the time.She enjoys art and prefers to sculpt. She also has an albino Compsognathus that follows her everywhere. In her spare time, she often visits her refuge, a waterfall hidden away in a crevace in the mountains. She is also adept at Tai Chi, often using it to relax but is able to use if offensively if the situation arises but prefers non-violent approaches.
Taylor
Taxidermist Poacher

An expert taxidermist and leathersmith, Taylor is not above dealing with jobs which poachers bring him... for the right price. With several contacts off world, he also is a contact for the black market and can get anything he is asked, if the customer is willing to pay.A former member of an exploration guild, he since quit but keeps the patch from his guild on his vest. After leaving the guild he set up his main shop in the Capitol City of the NW Territory and a second shop that he keeps to himself for the illegal dealings.Although he does several dealings with poachers, he keeps these jobs under the radar and usually goes unnoticed by the Rangers. He is allowed to continue these pursuits by Turner in exchange for much needed equipment which he would be unable to obtain otherwise.
White-Eye
Deinonychus pack leader

Leader of a large and strong pack of Deinonychus. He was caught in the fire of 14 BD and trapped under a log where the right side of his face and neck obtained 3rd degree burns. He was rescued by two Rangers, but fled. Re-obtaining his pack, he respects the Rangers but demands respect from them in turn. Not wanting to have an infant from another brood in his pack, he rejects a lone infant who later becomes Scarface.
Simon
Poacher

A man with an unknown past, Simon lives alone in Dinoworld. He was in league with another poacher called Clyde, but betrayed him to the Rangers.With no clear favoring of anyone other than his own interests, he is known to use chloroform on those who displease him and leave them in the woods.A good fighter as well, he is the last man anyone would want to cross. While on one expedition, Simon shot and killed a Deinonychus family. Upon approaching his quarry an infant raptor that he missed attacked him, leaving three lashes across the right side of his face. Since then he has worked alone.
Jeremy
"Bard"

After losing his wife to an illness, Jeremy was sent on vacation to Dinoworld. Although he struggled, he found peace one day while with his guitar in the woods. While playing several of the wild dinosaurs came to listen. Deciding to stay, he was permitted to build a cabin outside of the city limits and lives on his own.Adapting to this simpler lifestyle, Jeremy also adopted a simpler style of dress with a simple shirt and pants with some leather boots. Although his songs became popular to the inhabitants of Dinoworld he still sings for the pleasure and joy of it rather than the fame.Later, his daughter (which is nicknamed Snow due to her white hair) came in search of him. Finding him there and how he enjoyed the peace, Snow informed Jeremy's brother and his own wife who later came to Dinoworld. Although his family lives within the city they still frequently go to Jeremy's cabin and invite him to sing with them at various concerts and gatherings.
